I was surprised to not see anything pertaining to the boil order for West Burlington on your web site. I visit the site everyday and find it useful and informative. I think the city should have something in place similar to what the our school system has in place to notify teachers and students of important notifications. We did not now of the boil order until the 10:00 pm TV news last night. I have seen and reported water line breaks within two blocks of our residences and never heard of any boil orders issues. One as recent as two weeks ago and got me to wondering, what is the requirement for a boil order?

Unfortunately we never received a notice of boil order from the city. City Hall knows our email address, but for some reason they neglected to send it to us. We would be more than happy to post it.
