Thomas Jefferson… Years Ahead of His Time

Falcon:

Here’s a few quotes indicating Jefferson was hundreds of years ahead of his time and must of known about democrats long before they were ever invented.  I wonder if he sensed an Obama on the American horizon; so many years ago?

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” — Thomas Jefferson

“To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.” — Thomas Jefferson

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.” — Thomas Jefferson

“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” — Thomas Jefferson

Government Only Represents Themselves

Falcon:

Here’s a good site to find out how senators and others have ripped off the public to gain millions of dollars:  http://insidertrading.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=001580

It list the top ten richest senators and the many conflicts of interest involved because of their positions.

Just another example of government that only represents themselves.  The millions they spend on reelections is money stolen from the insider trading they allowed themselves.  No wonder none of them can be voted out and will probably have to be forced out.
