“TROUSIL FOR THREE
West Burlington/Notre Dame’s Isaiah Trousil joined elite company on Friday on the Blue Oval, becoming the fourth prep to win three-straight Drake Relays titles in the boys’ 100 meters. Trousil joins Des Moines North’s Clyde Duncan (1962-64), Davenport North’s Marques Simmons (1999-2001) and Cedar Falls’ James Harrington (2010-12) as sprinters that won three-straight crowns in the 100. His time of 10.53, which occurred with a +2.1 m/s wind, is the fastest time in state history under all conditions, but due to the wind Friday, Harrington’s Drake Relays’ record of 10.61 still stands.”
