The Leak rate under the pool floor accounted for about 70,000-gallons lost per day before being shut off.
Taxpayer info: West Burlington’s Pool construction cost $2.5-million dollars in 2007, before opening in 2008. The pool has operated at a loss since opening in 2008, losing over $1.2 million in total operational, repair, and maintenance costs over its 16-years of existence.
